Summer Concert at the Cove Series

The City of Solana Beach, in collaboration with the Belly Up Tavern, presents the much-anticipated “Concerts at the Cove” series. Held every Thursday night from June 13th to August 8th, from 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM, these concerts bring local musicians to the Fletcher Cove Park stage.

Designed for audiences of all ages, the concert series emphasizes family recreation and cultural experiences in a relaxed outdoor setting by the beach. Families and friends can enjoy a variety of musical styles at sunset while sitting on low-back beach chairs or picnic blankets. This event is free and open to the public, making it a perfect summer evening activity.

Each year features a unique theme; this year, it’s a tribute to the Pachuco era, a significant part of Chicano history. The celebration includes Ballet Folklórico, a Classic Car Show by Viejitos Car Club, musical performances, and various contests and activities for kids. The highlight of the event is the display of more than 40 altars honoring the memories of those who have passed away, blessed by the Aztec Dancers Danza Coatlique Ceminitzli.
